Who I Am...

These introductions are a lot of time so shallow - but so be it...

I am in my sixth year as a Social Studies teacher at Alexander Central High School, which was also my alma mater. (Go Cougars!) In 2005, I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College, now University.  My husband and I dated in high school and on and off through college and on June 24, 2006 - the best day of my life - we were married!  We have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Emily who is 3 and Abby who is 1.  They are my world - I love being a mom!

In Aug. 2006 I had begun a MA program in History Education but found out we were expecting our first child and decided to wait on grad school.  So it makes perfect sense that I started grad school again when I was 7 months pregnant with my second daughter! :) This is absolutely who I am - I go at life with everything I've got, leaving no regrets.

I love God and give Him thanks for all the blessings he has allowed me to have.  I am a Christian. I didn't say Methodist (although I attend a Methodist Church) because I think religious people are too divided over insignificant things - I find it fascinating to learn how much in common many religions have.

New Media is outside of my comfort zone but here we go, leaving no regrets! :)
